Having grown up using the HotPoint and many other Twin Tub Washing Machines, You making a few mistakes and are over complicating using Both Machines even more so the little Twin Tub, First Off, Make sure you have 2 of those laundry baskets, Wash a load of laundry and then put it in a basket then was another load or 2 and put that in the Basket, Once Done, 2) Then Drain the washing water and refill with clean water and fabric softener and put a load of the laundry back in and cycle it for 5 or 10 minutes, 3) then put that laundry in the spin dryer and fill with water and then spin it for 2 or 3 minutes, YOU don'tneed to keep turning the spin Drum by hand like you keep doing, the water will find its own way into the clothing, Once it has been spun Hang it out to dry. THE WATER you used to rinse the the cloths with in the Main Tub NOW becomes your washing water and you just add more detergent and top up with water and Do another Load of Washing And repeat all of the Above, Put the Whites in first and wash them then take them out and put in Colour fast Items and wash them and then take them out and then Wash Couloured Items and do the same and then do the real Dirty Items and Jeans etc, And then Change the water and Rinse them all in the clean water in the order that you washed them, This will Cut your Laundry time by about 60% or more and save a Lot Of Water, The Spin Dryer is not for Rinsing Clothes, That is all Done In the Washing Drum and you only add water to the spin Cycle as the final phase. Also Your HotPoint has a Problem because The Paddle should not Clunk or wobble Like That and it should be a very smooth Action, You can see something is wrong because the Centre of the Filter basket keeps moving off centre. You Don't need to keep messing with either machine and doing things like turning the Spin Drum while filling it with water, For socks and underwear they only need 6 to 9 or 10 minutes wash cycle and anything you put it the little spin dryer only takes 2 to 3 minutes to become dry and only heavy Items MIGHT take a little longer, We used those HotPoint Twin Tubs for over 20+ years In the 60's 70's and 80's Also don't keep packing down the clothes with your hand when you put them in the spin dryer just drop them in and put the mesh basket cover on top and thats it, If you keep packing them down with your hand you will create areas where the clothes end up in clumps and the Spin Dryer will be off balance and it won't spin properly like It is in your Video @ the 34+ minute mark. so I hope this helps, Great Video, I Also have the Camping Twin Tub Washing Machine since I have had it I have only used the Big Automatic Machine Once since buying the Twin Tub because it Washes Better, Uses less Water and uses less power, Modern Machines just do not clean or Spin Dry like a Twin Tub. Normally delicate laundry is supposed to be washed at 40°C maximum not at 60°C after that it depends on the brand of washing machine

Hi . I have a hoover 2332 turbo power. It still has its suppressor it place. Are they likely to go bang, like the old hoover junior/senior. I would like to use it, but don’t think could cope with the noise if it popped. Also, I was the guy who bought the hoover senior 652, you did a video of the suppressor removal and polished it up to a gleaming standard. I also once sold you the Electrolux 152, some year ago. Enjoy your day.

I love the old twin tub but I feel this one has a few hiccups.

Why was it pumping water out of the pipe whilst it was washing and you were diverting it back into the tub? I remember the Hoovermatics well but not any that did this.

The spinner pump actually managing to drain the wash tub as well?! I know the later machines only used one pump but it’s bizarre to see this, especially as the two hoses only meet at the very top of the machine.

Get an adapter if you have a GoPro or similar camera, you can get balancing kits also for the gimbal, it's the only way I can use the Moza mini s I have. And the Hohem isteady.

There were 2 different motors used in the 01. The motor from the De-Stijl -‘d the absolute models with the heap filter had different motors that were just lacking so much in power, even if you tested it with no filters, the majority of the other 01s used a different motor, much better much stronger much more airflow and suction, unfortunately some of the crappy motors made their way into the standard machines You can tell by the sounds. Both motors sound very different, the better motors sound more like the 04/07 models with comparable power and performance, Ametek motors and lamb motors, could t tell you which one was which though
